Mona, 25 years old, is a domestic worker from Makassar, South Sulawesi. She has no day off and even when she accompanies her employer’s family to go on vacation, she still needs to work. She feels that she has no time for herself, for going out with her boyfriend and even for going home to meet her family.
This short film is part of the We Have the Same Right Campaign to promote decent work for domestic workers and their recognition as workers under the ILO’s Promoting Decent Work for Domestic Workers (PROMOTE) Project, funded by the United States Department of Labour (USDOL). The campaign consists of seven short films on domestic workers and child domestic workers.
